what is your setting for playing chess?

when I play, I set my phone next to a board and play the moves on a board. I play with an old wooden board and nice heavy wooden pieces. the set up is on my living room coffee table and play on the side nearest a large window looking onto my street. when I'm not playing, the board and pieces stay on the table with whatever last position happens to still be there.
