just idiots, guys get insulted here as well.
what makes me a [Edited by Moderator]?

You'll figure it out- Back into the breach!

You don't need a thick skin, and don't necessary need to soil your hands and fight such people.
There's the "disable chat" button. There's the "block" button. You just eliminate such people from your online experience - exactly as you would do in real life.
They don't deserve one minute of your time.
I hope that this helps.

The majority are, of course - like in real life. Also Kaynight is a really nice guy - you'll get used to his crisp wit.
If he posts in your threads, nothing bad will come your way!

You ask if chess is a chauvinist game? Depends who you're asking.
Everywhere I play IRL, women also play - So probably not.
Women are under-represented, and some people simply hate women, we know about this too, but we shouldn't care too much about them.

<Alexm2310> The theory is interesting, and I can be interested in the book.
Some (a lot of!!) bad things in life are inevitable. So if there's something bad that I don't need and I can close the door in the face of, then I will.
IN YOUR FACE MOTHERXXXXXX !!!!
(not you, obviously, <Alexm2310>. I meant any actual abuser).
(Due disclosure: I personally can't stand abusive people).

Those members who made those comments go back to a time when Chess.com had forums for "Witch-Hunts", "Crucifictions", and "Killing Dirty Whores". Fortunately, Staff put an end to that These days, we just knock over unsuspecting little children with pillows

Chess is not a chauvinist game. This happen to all of us. Best advice is to turn off chat permanently and use the message function if communication is needed. It use to be quite disturbing anyway to get chat messages when playing no matter what is written I think.
Hello chess community. I am relatively new to chess and to this site, which in general I am really enjoying. However, it is upsetting to be called a "dirty whore" and also to go and "kill your self whore" when I win! Hardly motivating and very unsettling when all I have done is win a chess game (poorly, I am a beginner with a low rank). I have reported both players to the moderators and will continue to do so. Is chess a chauvinist game? I hope not
