"... The Amateur's Mind … (for players 1000 to 1600)

How to Reassess Your Chess 4th Edition … (for players 1400 to 2100) …" - IM Jeremy Silman (2010)

Don't. A pedantic, patronising bore with ridiculous over analysis that will harm, not help your game. Like many IM, a chip on the shoulder and an attitude. Get some GM tips instead.

"... Jeremy Silman's How to Reassess Your Chess is an example of a good book which explains many important ideas in clear terms. ..." - GM John Nunn (2006)
