You mean king versus king? I don't think it happens all that often.
What percentage of GM chess games reach the endgame with two or less pieces?

Good question. Since the king is a piece I meant 3 or less pieces. I don't consider pawns pieces in this question. So an ending with White King + Rook + Bishop and Pawns VS Black King + Bishop + Bishop + pawns would be an example. An opponent can have lesser pieces than the other player such as a King + Rook + Bishop against a King and Rook.
I guess I could use Chessbase Megabase 2017 and use the search filter with 2 or more pieces but I do not have that. Also what percentage % of wins white/black, and draws are there.
