You should play rapid.

I went through a bunch of lessons when I re-emerged (not really; I just gave up on the website after a week because I wasn't really serious about chess). The "weekly lessons" added up because it was well over a year, so I went through a bunch of them in just a few days and learned a bit too much information for my noob brain to handle.

Ultimately it worked, though, seeing as I'm definitely a far better chess player than I was last year. I even made the quad digits today, though we'll have to see if that lasts.

@Leto very true and and frenchtoastcrunch yeah ur not wrong but i think like puzzles are better than lessons cuz sometimes i spam the hint and then solutions so i automatically go to the next lesson cuz im bored (i actually do it thought sometimes dont worry)

At 500 level there are big areas for improvement everywhere. If you master your puzzles without knowing basic principles - well, you will have less chances against the person who spend his/her time for all areas to improve.
