What to do if you are playing against political people?

I always try to win. Unless there is a good reason not to.

The word political is redundant. All people are political in some way. So the question is what to do if you are playing against people. Well, try to win and have fun I suppose. That's the whole point of the game.

There's only one correct outcome to this , you must draw !
Yes draw and nothing else . You loose , you loose respect and show your weakness, you win well ...., let's just say you dont want to do this (it's just better this way for you and your family). So draw is perfect and you found a new friend.
Such a simple question.
Just take a big dump on the chess board and be done with it. I am sure Putin won't want to play you after that. Problem solved.

If he were playing 1. e4, I would play the Petrov Defense against him and hope for a draw.
