What To Do If Your Opening Got Destroyed By The Opponent
If it happens you should focus with more attention to tricks and mistakes to avoid on your opening.Study that game and learn how to defend yourself succesfully!
following opening theory is OK but it's optimum to have a known opening to play for example i play the queens gambit and the caro-kann defence. i researched them and know what my opponents can do and how to end up OK in the middle game. look up some openings. play them and see how you feel with them. eventually you'll find the opening right for you.
There is no "best opening theory".
Why not show us one of your games?
i think he's following the theory. develop your pieces, go for the centre, castle etc. the basics everyone knows.
Positional player: typically plays for quiet positions with clear plans, and tries to gradually out-manoever the opponent
Tactical player: typically plays for wild positions where pieces are lunging back and forth, and there are no clear continuations
JUST SURRENDER "BEST CHOICE OF ALL TIME''
I'm positional then
as black the caro-kann defence is really good as white the stonewall. there aren't many videos on the stonewall but it's solid.
