All you need to do is put your opponent in check such that he/she has no
legal moves!
Why are you studying master games is your next opponent a master ? My chess coach
he means study your own games
Best advice ever:
Continuously wink at you opponent after every move".
winer. I was referring to the second word. lol. The British on here will understand.
o.k., this is said, tongue in cheek (whatever that means): maybe the thought of never playing people stronger than you is you don't have to learn, you will usually (no-one wins 100%) win, so you are content. I agree with all those who say it's better to play stronger players because, I personally, want to keep improving and that is the best way to keep improving. Most of you will agree that we learn more from our losses than from our wins. Of course, if we take the time to go back over our wins, we will also learn from that. This is a very enjoyable thread. Some answers are helpful, some are funny but most are enjoyable. Thank you.
i also think its a great idea to attack ruthlessly, so even if you blunder your opponent might get nervous and blunder as well.
