What would you do...
I'd ignore the draw offer in the 1st and 2nd case.
In the 3rd case, if I were obviously losing and they asked for a draw because they had to go (and I believed them), I'd resign.
Im that rare person that likes to believe people. Id give them the draw regardless. I mean, its onlie chess. It has no impact on my real rating.
Diak - yea that is a good as well. Unless I was a few moves from mate.
Yeah that's why I'd ignore it, because if I had to go, I wouldn't be typing, I'd just resign and go.
But once this happened with a friend, we set the time control really long just for a friendly game, and in a losing position I was taking a long time to think and he said he had to go and offered a draw. So I resigned and thanked him for the game.
What would you do if you were in a slightly winning position, and your opponent asked for a draw bc he had to leave online game for an emergency?
Same question, but you were in a neutral position?
Or if you were in a losing position?
