I'd have a good time in chess school.
What would you do if chess was school. . .?

If chess was school I would have ignored it and spent my time in class looking at geometry magazines.
I'm a substitute teacher, last year I had a permanent assignment at a high school's exceptional ed department, in which I got a chess program going for the higer functioning kids with ADD, Dyslexia, emotional problems, etc and it became such a hit with the administration it turned into a full time job for me to sit around and play chess with them all day. Students who couldn't sit still long enough to write their name on a piece of paper would transform when a chess board was in front of them and suddenly become calm and focused. It was a great job I hope to repeat it this school year.
What would you do if chess was school? (would you ever be absent? Would you ever think about dropping out of a chess school? Would you do your chess homework(tactics and notating your mistakes and finding the winning moves which is for homework)? Would the class ever make noise? Would you bank? Would you cheat? Out of a thousand learners would you want to be in the top 10 (chess school)?
