This is a lie. Of course everyone know in the year 1200 B.C., Easter was on a Tuesday.

It was the only year because that Sunday was the Super Bowl.

Chess was invented the year that someone came up with the idea of having a board with 64 squares with each square having a different colour from the other. Then 2 rooks each.2 Knights each.2 Bishops each a Queen and A King! The object of the game was to put your opponents king in a square that he couldnt move out of as they would be in check with a piece of the opponents....Then the game of chess was born!!!  I think the year was 2001! (i think)..

I'd believe that if the game was tic-tac-toe

Well it is-it's just a bit more sophisticated form of tic tac toe-if no mistakes are made it will end up in a draw wouldnt it?  I think-just like tic tac toe- probably developed from it in the beginning

The Lewis Chessmen at the British Museum are thought to have been made in Norway between 1150 and 1200 A.D. According to this British Museum link, the game dates from  about 500 B.C. http://www.britishmuseum.org/about_us/news_and_press/statements/the_lewis_chessmen.aspx
