I could potentially see a titled player asking for it for an anonymous account, so it would make it harder to tie to the player, but I don't know if the site would do it.

Titled players sometimes get a second, anonymous account so that they can practice and prepare new openings without having those preparations traced back to them by the other GMs.

maybe so they can play anonymously in titled tuesday. samay raina (who has the title) said that he could play in titled tuesday even with that title
