i love this question.
no doubt in my mind at all - f7 FTW!
reason: the main weak square to attack in the king's gambit.
i kind of feel good when i have a bishop on c4 .ofcourse if the position allows it or if it makes sense at all
It always makes me smile when I manage to establish a knight on f5 as white.

The cigarette posts are working overtime, as some people call cigarettes "squares". I never understood why.
I don't have any favorite squares. I like forks and pins and such, and they can happen almost anywhere (you can't fork from a corner square with a minor piece).
The chess square is always greener on the other side of defense.
F5 because it is a good square for an attacking knight!
L11 is my favorite. My opponent never sees attacks coming from there.

anyway b8. It's usually where I promote my pawns to knights.
Sunsets, holding hands, long walks on the beach.
turn offs: mean people
I like c4 too.
c4 is a good square, as white I think it is good for the bishop to be there...
I'm fond of d6. I find I'm putting knights there as white and bishops there as black. It's just a comfy square no matter what color ;)

I was married to f3. Then I did the deed with f6. Then I eloped with a1. She was just after my money. So I left her and got serious with h1. She had an affair with e4. So I left her and had flings with d4, d6 and d8. In a relationship with b8.
Do you have a favourtie chess square like f7 or g5? I like e2 for some reason, seems like my white bishop belongs there.
