Well i dont know exactly but it was before partitioj at least.

In it pawns couldnt move two spaces in their first move and they could only promote into a knight if they were on the knight's beginning square and a queen if her square or the king's square and a castle if... there would have been other differences as well

Of course before partition...but india did exist still right ..

Yeah i mean... it wasn't exactly this india, if you get me

Nobody deliberately turns a thread into something. Its just that the topic tends to change over the course of the discussion. Not interested ...ignore and come back when its something that you like.....or just unfollow.

And I always thought the King's Indian had something to do with a chief sending out Indians for war, the American Indian type.

Lol...I have heard some people say the fianchettoed bishop in the king's indian resembles a red indian hiding behind a bow with an arrow......hence the openinggot its name

Its a thread that I started....might be a problem for you not for others. SO I am telling you once again, if you dont like it unfollow.....need not tell us what's relevant and what not. Don't like the topic ....start something you like.....no one's stopping you. But don't make these unnecessary complaints here.

i didnt say dont start a topic like this. i said dont turn it into something like which is already viral. whatever i say you will make it longer and longer everytime i can see that. i dont have time for this. i just said it.. do whatever you want. i havr liberity to follow and unfollow anything i want and i have liberty to suggest anything in any topic whether its yours or others..

I was playing it, didn't know that the queen was so weak, did a tactic that won their queen for my rook just to realising that was terrible xD

Funny. Some horrible word is allowed to be posted. But if I left the same word intact when addressing a person to let him/her know that chaturanga is Indian, I am given a warning about my account and what I intended on posting won't get posted. How could this site be ordered so illogically?

Yes...I literally wanted to say the same thing....but I thought it had something to do with just my account

Under its BETA version , chess.com has rolled out a few other variants of chess , which weren't available here before.

How did you find the Chaturanga Variant ?

My experience was terrible....I could not understand the rules ....and lost my very first game terribly.

I liked it. I think it is a cool addition to chess.com's previous lack of variant options. I had studied a bit into Chaturanga before, so I already knew most of the rules and a lot of the history. Apparently, I'm decent at Chaturanga happy.png It is a fun change of pace.

There wouldn't be any argument had you suggested it in a polite or civilized manner.

I didn't even notice the s word to begin with. I just focused on the complaint of India. To address the person I felt quoting was the way to go but who'd know, an original post with a bad word IS allowed but recycling it is NOT allowed. WEIRD! Who are the programmers for this site? What's up with this nonsense?

So did you also get a warning about your account in trying to address the person? If so, you may need to contact support to lift the bad mark from your record else you may find yourself unfairly muted.

Yes..I did get a warning . I will surely contact the support about it ....Thanks for letting me know about it . I never knew they have records for such stuff.

basic code when they put the * in the middle the computer dosent recognise it as a naughty word so it slides by, a moderator in person has to see it for action to be done
