I feel hopeless when i make ridiculous blunders...........
When is a chess game hopeless?
Against an equally rated player, a game is never hopeless; Even if you are a piece down (Knight/Bishop/Rook) if you try to analyse the situation and find weak points in the other player's game, you may be able to find a way to defeat them. Try to play an attacking game, don't give up!
Also there is always the possibility of your opponent making a blunder! Even from a queen-up position he/she may neglect their position and you can take advantage of that.
Nice responses so far!
Hmm..it all depends on my opponent I think..If it is a very good opponent then the game is hopeless from the start(I give my best in these games-you cannot lose if you pay attention..chess is 99% tactics right
)
However,if my opponent is fairly okay or a beginner,then I am able to win easily most of the times even if I am a bishop or knight down.
