When your opponent severely blunders, does the W lose it’s value to you?
A win is a win, yes, but when you start losing a lot immediately afterwards, the game you won no longer feels like a proper win
all games are won due to some kind of blunder. its the only way to win in chess, and if your opponent blundered in a winning position, it means you must have blundered first
Feeling guilty and the game losing value are two different things.
I never feel guilty, but especially if the blunder is early in the game, sure, it can feel like I wasted my time playing i.e. a valueless win.
Nah, if you blunder, then it's entirely your fault. They still have to convert the win or even find the blunder if it's a complex move sequence.

Going to totally Geek out here, but reminds me of the scene in the movie 'TROY', when achilles is fighting Hector, Hector trips on the stone and Achilles says, "Get up, Prince of Troy, I wont let a stone take my glory." I do it as well in more personal settings especially if im the better player.
I had one guy come in a few minutes late for our OTB tournament game. He was breathing hard like he'd ran from the parking lot or something. He sits down and blunders a whole piece in the opening.
He apologized to me a few times during the game heh.
I was having a bad tournament, so I was just happy for a round where I could rest and get a free win ![]()
