Im pretty new to chess, i played a lot when i was younger, but only picked it up bout 4 months ago.

i want to go pretty far with chess and take it serioulsy as a hobbie, but i dont know where to start.

i study games, read various books, solve problems and play alot online.

But i want to go pretty far and i feel as though i need some sort of guidance in the right order to gain knowlege in this art.

if i sound confusing, i apologize, but i need to know where start with chess if im going to study it and progress with it.

could some please suggest some ideas .

thank you very much for time, i appreciate it.

Mabey start with some simple things like forks, pins, skewers, discovered attack/check. Then go onto endgame tactics, then openings.
