"Let's Make Chess, Not War -- Only $5 a Game!"
Start at Steak N Shake or Waffle House. Whichever is busiest. Flirt with the waitress and tell her you'll give her $2 for every $5 you clear as long as she smooths every thing over with the manager and keeps the free drinks coming.
This way everyone wins and she can make some tips while she makes some tips.
I did have a nice game today at Schuler Books. However, it was against a patzer and I beat him quite crushingly. He told me prior to playing that he was not veyr good, but I think he expected to do better than he did. Kind of a timid fellow. Very polite though. I had a nice time.
