I think moron when I lose game of chess.
Which do you think more on? When you win a game of chess? When you lose a game?

You shouldn't think that. Losing a game of chess does not make you a moron. It means you have room to improve.

Definitely on wins. I know it sounds ridiculous, but when I lose I get sort of upset about it and just want to get the next one underway. After a game or two I might go back to it and review it. But there's so many holes even in the games I win why not just explore the ones that make me happy?
If I was forced to analyze every loss I probably wouldn't play as much (because I'm having less fun), therefore I really wouldn't get better.

I don't know that I think much about either one, but I remember things about positions I found interesting or for some reason made an imprint in my mind. Winning or losing is so momentary that it doesn't stay with me.

I analyze nearly all of my games afterwards.
I think I am slighlty more critical of my moves during this time if I lost. But, I basically spend the same amount of time either way.
I did recently read a quote from a famous chess player saying he was more critical of his wins than his loses.

Yes but you shouldn't just always think about the wins of chess. You should also think about why you lost, go over THOSE games, and then see why you lost and fix the holes in the strategy. You might get upset and just want to get the next game underway. There have been times where I got upset too but I thought more about the games I lost because if you only think about the ones you win then you aren't improving.

Also, again you are NOT a moron if you lose a game of chess. Too late ajttja, I already looked at some of your games.
Hey there chess.com, here is something that a close friend of mine helped me to understand. What do you think about more? When you win a game of chess or when you lose a game of chess? Which do you take more time to think over? Give me your thoughts.
