which is better, magnus or hikaru?

Carlsen.
Having said that, I've become more appreciative of Nakamura over time. Carlsen may be dominant when it comes to classical chess, but I think Naka and Carlsen are in the same league in blitz and 960.

Paul Morphy beats both of them, even if they had the assistance of alpha zero and stockfish.
True. Paul is a time-traveller from the 23rd century, with a brain chess implant that is much stronger than today's puny Stockfish.
Oh, and AlphaZero never existed, it was just a media hack.
Nikeroo Hakamura and Carlnus Magson is just way better than Hikaru, Magnus, Kasparov, and Karpov together.

Hikaru isn't even on the list.
2.
Magnus - 2839 - 2818 - 2887
Hikaru - 2780 - 2731 - 2874
Conclusion:
Magnus wins whatever, but Hikaru's brilliant as well.

For the second question, I would choose Kasparov as he was the greatest player of his time until Carlsen and etc came along to take the first place from him.

Seriously though, Magnus is certainly one of the best 5-6 players ever, and Hikaru probably is barely in the top 100.

Hikaru is one of the top players in the world; however, many people believe Magnus to be the best player of all time. Both have great talent, but objectively, Magnus is on another level.

Some may prefer Carlsen's strategic and positional mastery, while others may be more drawn to Nakamura's dynamic and aggressive play. Both players have their own unique strengths, and their rivalry has led to many exciting games and matches in the chess world.

What is the point of this kind of insane trolling? I will never understand.
