Which side would you rather start on? White or Black?

Black  you will see on this site i played Black about 80% of my games.

I like starting with white because I usually can't understand the openings my opponent uses when I'm black

We should do what they do in gomoku. White chooses the first three moves, then black has a choice whether to play white or black or do two more movies. If black does two more moves, then white gets to choose which color to be. This gets rid of the first move advantage and instead focuses on purely positional and tactical play. Nobody can cry that since white had the first move the game was rigged.

If white and black choose each others first moves, you can easily win.

For me it doesn't matter. As white I play the Kings Gambit most often (1. e4 e5 2. f4) and as black I play the Latvian Gambit (1.e4 e5 2. Nf3 f5).
