"I dont know any openings and I dont want to learn too many of them" ++ Fair enough.
"an opening that doesnt have too many variations" ++ As you do better with black, play a reverse system. You can even open 1 a3 and pretend you are black, but there are more effective ways.
If you play Sicilian 1 e4 c5 as black, then open 1 c4 as white.
If you play Ruy Lopez 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bb5 as black, then play Vienna 1 e4 e5 2 Nc3 Nf6 as white.
Hi,
I've been playing chess for a while and I am 1300 rated. I just checked my stats and found out that last month (around 250 games) I won 54% games as black, but only 46% as white and I would like to get better at that.
I dont know any openings and I dont want to learn too many of them (coss its kinda booring). So I would like a suggestion for an opening that doesnt have too many variations (things that black can effectively do) and leaves me in a good spot.
