I seem to recall a few discussions about his system in a few forums, but I don't think anyone made an in-depth analysis of it. I guess you could download his three books (The Beginner's Game, The Center Game, and The Defense Game) and wade in yourself. I didn't really have any interest in doing so.

I'm doing exactly that now on my blog.
Pafu used the old Chessmaster software to test his beginner's game against an aggressive opponent, one that seeks draws, and one that plays conservative moves. He considers this to be the ultimate test of his beginner's game which is truly a horrible way to play chess.
To you all who wants to know more about pafus book pm me. I play it most of the time now. It got me to 1780. The system is called hippopotamus defence. Many gm like spassky used it in world championship.
I suggest searching it in google. Hippopotamus defence games. Chessgames.com has compilation of it.
About ten years ago a book called "The Beginners Game" came out. The writer was someone name Pafu. Does anyone know anything about Pafu?
