Fischer's Worst
#Rules
No chess player had a higher level of dominance than Fischer in the years 1970-1972. His play against the top GMs was historic and not likely to be repeated, especially now that computer engines have narrowed the gap among the top 20 or so. BUT, Carlsen has maintained his edge for a decade and he's done it in a very original way, defying the leveling power of chess engines. This, too, is historic.
Bottom line: Transport Carlsen back to 1971 and Fischer beats him in a tough match. Or bring 1971 Fischer into the present, and he'd lose to Carlsen in a tough match.
