I doubt it
Who is the worst chess player ever?

We all have heard of the chess greats. Fischer, Kasparov, Carlsen, etc. But who is the worst, I mean the WORST rated player there is?
Here is my criteria:
I am not looking for a strong master who has had some off days (e.g. Nigel Short)
The person must be playing for a substantial amount of time.
The person is at least 10 years of age.
I have a few candidates:
Ruth S Arluck
Noreen Davisson
Ken Cohen
I am sure that these are all great people to be with, etc, but perhaps chess is not for them.
Josh Waitzkin is the first person who comes to mind after seeing the criteria.
Are the ones you posted actually "strong masters"?

I saw one player that was rated 296 in live chess once, but I don't remember who it was. According to their profile, they had been on chess.com for about 6 months.
I was rated a lot lower than the past, the lowest I've been was 207, but I was new.
If you are talking about official ratings, than I don't know.

Henry Kissinger
Back in 1972 he call Bobby Fischer, and said he was the worst chess player in the world calling the best chess player in the world.
Niloofar Nayab's games are worth looking through, not that women in Afghanistan has had much chance to progress in chess, but still:

Hey Tigercrap, have you seen Magnus on line doing live commentary on chess games, sometimes with other superGMs, often with schmoes?

Without being too hard on myself I thought I was the worst! It took me about 11 attempts before I could finally beat a 100 ranking novice engine. Other times when an opponent would offer me their king is over look the checkmate chance and throw it away to stalemate. Is that a run for money here?
Yeah, I really don't know what's the point at times in wasting brain energy moving damn pieces around a checker board as if your life depended on in when there are simply other things my mind appeals to more! seriously man, chess is something I enjoy enough to play on here but I dont like it as much as other stuff!!!
