Here you can set the rating range you want to play against.
I an not sure, but I think if you are on a win streak, the algorithm might start matching you against stronger opponents in order to match you against same strength players and make you climb rating faster so eventually your strength and rating match each other.
Oh... On setting your parameters. Or game seeking criteria. What you set your desired points at ; both high and low sides are only taken as a guild for the algorithm. In other words. The system will do its best to accommodate your requests. However ; do not be surprised or alarmed if they are outside of the parameters you asked for ; or worse yet not even close. I ask not to play nobody more than 25 points below me. But the system will make me play folks 100+ below me. It seems it strategically throws those kinds at you when you have managed to win a few or if you're at a plateau you have been struggling to attain. They know right when they knock ya down and start whittling your rating back down to where you began ; hours or even days before. And you can drop in rating 200+ in a heart beat but good luck go back the other way that fast.
so i'm a little above 1300 in bullet and from when i was 1290 until now it's taken about 15-20 seconds to match, whereas it usually takes like 1 or 2. I have played against two 1700s a 1600 and a bunch of 1400s and i was just wondering if something is happening bc i've been beating them and getting 10+ even 14+ in one game compared to the usual 8. It also feels a little unfair comsidering how much rating they're losing... anybody have an answer or is just a glitch... ?
