I have been playing for 2 years and have 1111 Rating (Fide). I am on the same level even after I work had. Why am I am improving??

@kaynight is completely wrong. I think you need to pick out weaknesses in your game and need to improve them one by one...thats how everyone improves.

How old are you? If your brain hasn't yet fossilized, you still have hope.

Chess requires patience, logic, persistence, calculation, careful planning, sacrifices, experience, strategy, right mental state and having the ability to think ahead and think about the outcome of every move. The key thing to chess is building a solid defence system before you go on the attack. Keep playing the more you play the better you get. The best way to learn is to start playing without your queen reason is because you will value your other pieces more and you will understand the significance of each piece by not heavily relying on the queen, you need put yourself in a situation where you don't have your queen and be able to still carry on and still be effective at the same time.

And don't forget it's also about psychology and adapting to your opponent's style. If you need lessons on improving your game I may be able to help you and depending on the way you learn if your serious about it, I guarantee you that you will see improvement and results. If your interested then email me maruf.thakur@gmail.com and I will dedicate my time and effort to helping you from a small fee per month.

Why is your rating too low then. Thanks for offer but it seems you need more help than me

Kaynight's rating is higher than taxman's, so I think you should follow Kaynight's advice. Wink

So wrong. Kaynight is a jerk, ignore him. I find it helps to focus on study and less game after game after game. Just my strategy

I play and practice everyday but I am not improving. Any solutions for it

I didn't get you, can you explain about your strategy

All types of help are appreciated

kaynight  and  D-mate19 Stop quarreling, only thing I want to is help from everyone to improve

rubbeldiekatzunso

Play, play and play some more.

Chess is about pattern recognition, among other things. The more you play, the better you will become.

Posting on the forums does not improve playing strength though - if it did kaynight would be a GM.

To judge me on my rating and underestimate me just based on my rating, just shows the quality of a player you are, you need to more humble as a player. I don't play it very much but what i do know, I know what it takes to be a good player and if I really want to I can have a much better rating because I have the ability to do so. Being judgemental is not a good trait to have and never under estimate your opponent, with my lessons I will use all the methods to change your game and have you adopt the right qualities to make you better person as well as a better person, chess has the power to change your life and you will the effects it will have every aspect of your life. If your judge people and underestimate your opponent you will fail, I will give that wisdom to be a better player. The saying go's condemnation before investigation is the greatest form of ignorance. If you doubt I'll be willing to challenge you to a game first to three and I guarantee I will beat you overall, regardless if you have a higher rating then me, my ambition is not be the ultimate player with a higher rating but merely to be a coach a very good one indeed at the moment I'm doing a lot of life coaching and I can proudly say that I have changed lives. It's up to you I don't need anyone else's stamp of improv all, I know what I need to know and I provided you with an answer and think it was a very good answer without the judgements and sarcasm.

Sorry to judge you on your rating but the rating shows the strength of the player (if he has played some games). I judge on experience and rating you have experience and but your rating is too low

Sorry if you see any grammatical errors within my previous post as I was not able go back and edit any mistakes but hopefully readers would have the intelligence to understand the information I'm trying to put across. If anyone is interested and like to go in with an open mind in improving their game please email me on maruf.thakur@ gmail.com, I'll use all the methods necessary in order to make you a better player. If you think it's too good to be true, why not try me out if you don't see any improvements I'll return your money if their is no improvement with your rating.

Grammatical errors is a mild way to put it :)

I had a suspicion when I read your first offer that this would be a money scam, and I'm not convinced otherwise yet.

All pretty flawed advices. The first thing a beginner should grasp is initiative, rapid development, tactics and attack before moving on to anything else. Same issue with second advice, while it's useful to learn to play without queen, you need to start with queen on the boards and learn the basic attacking and mating patterns. Last advice doesn't apply to someone of you or OP's level (that is close to beginners), when your primary concern is to not blunder, and play attacking chess.

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE but I dont drop pieces so often and have a bit endgame knowledge. But still thanks for advice
