Why am I playing like this-hard to enjoy chess

I tried over and over and over again to get into chess but its hard. I have tried different websites and still lose. I'm fairly new to chess but its so hard to keep interest. I do enjoy it but I keep losing and my rating is shit. All I wanna do is become a decent player people say practise and I have done lots but still no improvement was made. Can anyone help guide me please its hard having my rating a winning 1 in like 10 matches.

What have you tried? I think knowing basic end games and checkmates is what helped me the most. Of course you have to enjoy it, if you are just playing for rating in hopes to claim you’re good, you’ll find that’s a never ending battle and you might as well go climb Everest instead.
