Why am i so good at bullet but so bad at blitz?

I just got about 400 rating points in a week in bullet (1500>1900) but my blitz rating was only 1500. So when i started playing blitz, I felt extremely confident. But after a few games my rating actually dropped. The LAST thing i expected to happen. Do i just have to play a few more days to get used to blitz and finally effortlestly increase my rating or am i just that bad at thinking?
