I think Nd4 is very interesting. A friend of mine used to play it as black against me many times and despite various 5th moves for white, it was hard to get a winning game against the Schliemann, so I dont agree that its a bad move as you seem to feel. But regardless, as I originally wrote, one thing its not, is boring.
Why Anand still play the Ruy Lopez?

Fischer faced Berlin 3 times, 1. win and 2 draws. He has no problem with this defence, so his opponents seldom played it.
Thanks for that. But two draws out of three against Fischer with black ain't bad for anyone. Fischer was well known for pushing for the full point.

Can you write in a bigger font please? It hurts the eyes.

Having drawn in 2 occasions, Fischer revised his strategy and won the 3rd. He played Bg5 as white. It was a drawish game, but his opponent slipped.

I am writing in 10 pt font, which looks quite large on my 23" monitor. I dont know why it would look so small to you - however, you can simply do Ctrl + on your keyboard to enlarge the size (or Ctrl - to reduce it)
Bongcloud. I agree with jjrehp.
