You are able to help yourself. I don’t friend people I don’t know unless they’re titled. Watching any YouTube video on chess basics will elevate you considerably. Good luck!

If you interpret people trying to help you as being mean, you won’t improve. If you want help, you will learn more visually from a basic YouTube video than you will from a chess forum.
