i chose Saint Pierre because it's a pretty flag. not because I'm from there.
As to the Vatican, though:
Isn't the population much bigger than it appears? I'm pretty sure clergy, nuns, monks typically claim Vatican citizenship. if only symbolically. since their native countries may not allow it.
also chess.com has titled players with Vatican flags, and don't those have to be real? (question for moderators)
