Why are the Dutch IM suddenly all genius at Puzzle Rush

Anyone else noticed the Dutch players suddenly all beating all the super GMs at Puzzle Rush?

Like this guy: rated 1200th player in the world (not 1200 rating). Joined Today and already has 58 at Puzzle Rush ...

55 on his second attempt ever ? Seriously.

Now we have 4 Dutch friends in the Top 5. all within few days. All friends.

I do not see how that is possible without cheating.

And please do not tell me its is possible. There is no sport in the world where someone ranked 1200 can magically beat all the top 10 players  coming from nowhere,

maybe chess.com servers are faster in Netherlands?

Can I still post to their wall and praise them massively....begging to be friends?

LOL, people who care about authentic scores on chess.com are motivating the cheaters to cheat....and missing the point of the product IMO.

I mean the "1200" is actually an IM, he just hasn't played anything but puzzle rush on this account yet.

So they think Nakamura had a hand in it. Roy has done almost 3000 puzzle rushes and looked at all the solutions and memorized the answers. If it's that big of a deal, good for them. I feel like a play more than I care for of puzzle rush and I haven't even done 300 yet. As far as the ban, I thought it was supposed to be beyond a doubt cheating occurred before people were banned. It seems if they have video of themselves getting the score, is the website software so easy to manipulate?

lol. i got banned from chess.coms twitch chat for posting this link made by the shadowbanned one : https://clips.twitch.tv/PlayfulSavorySalmonWOOP

It is chess.com problem with very limited pool of  65,000 puzzles. That is why there are also 12,000+ on tactics rating.

Your account will soon be banned for that link, good luck.

I’m not sure what’s so great about a high puzzle score. I once knew someone who memorized all the answers to a trivial pursuit game; so what? If you notice in the first video, he gets stumped for a bit on number 47. I was impressed with how he figured that out, because he actually sat there and figured it out, but that’s it. As for the rest, his moves looked like rote moves. Can he translate his highly puzzle score into becoming a grandmaster? Do you win money with a high puzzle score or something? All he has done is developed a cool party trick; but even at a party people would then say, “OK, cool, now go ahead and play this grandmaster whose also at the party.” FAIL. Is this Roy guy a grandmaster?

Lol, dude relax. My account might also get banned as I do similar sharing of posts. There are also thousands of accounts banned everyday. Some of them might not be cheaters but,  too good to be true, like the guy doing 70 in PR.

After all, no one can complain to the court as we open accounts under their term and conditions.

@chesstenor he scored two gm norms in his last two tournaments, so he‘s certainly on his way to become a grandmaster

Also what parties are you attending with several grandmasters? :)

Casper Schoppen's legit record of 70 is still not shown in the leaderboards. Instead they are trying to make him look like a joke or something by sarcastically praising some bugged score of 101 in their twitter now. The longer they continue this the more negative PR they receive.

Edit: Yes the record was made with random account due to his main being permanently banned for no good reason. So imo they should just transfer the record to his main and be done with it. Also think he had 64 score anyway on his IM account earlier? but that no showing either.

Some other random people banned from chess.com:

Harry Houdini

Albert Einstein

Usain Bolt

Pablo Picasso

Donald Trump

(the latter was banned for refusing to become a member)

Puzzle solving and problem solving is very different from competitive chess. The most succesful problem solver of all time is the Polish IM Piotr Murdzia (an extremely humble and likeable guy) with no less than seven world titles.
