Why are there so many impolite players in live chess?

Friend everyone who is halfway decent. 
lately I’ve come across some very impolite players when I’ve been playing 3 mins. Last match my opponent said “cowards are blocked” and earlier today I was accused of cheating after my opponent blundered his queen. There used to be so many friendly people in live chess. Why are there so many angry people in live chess now? I might have to have a break from it and wait for the friendly players to return.
