Why are there so many random AI opponents in rapid games?

It seems like there are two sets of AI, one for when your rating dips and another for when you reach a certain threshold. I even tried to confront an opponent during a game about whether they were real. Of course, they did not answer me. They didn't seem to mind that I was making ridiculous moves and taking several minutes at a time doing it. I even won the game. Why does the site do this and how can I know what my real rating is if I can't play actual human beings in rapid on a consistent basis? Shouldn't it be only human beings playing these games? If I wanted to play an AI, I would have stuck with Microsoft chess.

The site does not use AI/bots in the live chess pools.

Do you have any proof of that? There have been several opponents who seem unresponsive when asked if they're real and play as if my moves are normal. Like if they have a king and I have a king and two rooks, I test the AI (because it is an AI that I'm playing against) by moving my rooks one space at a time just to see what the AI (Lol, supposedly human) responds with. Are you telling me that you would react normally if I prolonged the game by several moves when I could just check mate you in two and be done with it?

Staff have directly stated that is the case. You are playing accounts made by other members.

Absence of chatting doesn't mean anything. When I play, I don't look at the chat and if I'm playing on my phone, I won't see any chat until after the game, and 99% of the time I just hit new game, even on the website on a full computer.

As to playing on, I personally will resign when I have a completely lost game if I know that and the opponent has sufficient time.  However, having played plenty of lower strength players, even in person, they almost always play until the bitter end and should since opponents at that level fail to mate, all the time.

at my low level -- most players are non english speaking or too nervous to talk--  so don't respond  to chat -- maybe at higher levels there are bots but at lower levels two many errors played to be bots  and i know errors when i see them cause i play those errors myself

Do you have any proof of your own then?

Yeah, I already listed my proof. It's still more than anyone else has produced other than "this site doesn't do that." If you'd like, I can link you to the specific game I'm talking about. Proof is stacking up on this side of the board.

Not every cases need proof some of them only requiere testimony

Yes these lower rated bots play quite vicious chess and they have incredible capacity for playing continuously for many hours on the go during which they play dozens of games , and some times they are rated below 1000

Even assuming you're correct and the account you played was using a bot, that doesn't equate to the site employing bots in the live pools, which it doesn't.

Of course, if someone is inclined to discount the fact staff have said they don't, there's zero proof that could be presented to make them change their mind meh

None of that proves your assertion.
