It seems like there are two sets of AI, one for when your rating dips and another for when you reach a certain threshold. I even tried to confront an opponent during a game about whether they were real. Of course, they did not answer me. They didn't seem to mind that I was making ridiculous moves and taking several minutes at a time doing it. I even won the game. Why does the site do this and how can I know what my real rating is if I can't play actual human beings in rapid on a consistent basis? Shouldn't it be only human beings playing these games? If I wanted to play an AI, I would have stuck with Microsoft chess.
The site does not use AI/bots in the live chess pools.
