> Why chess gives you depression

Sometimes I feel upset as I cant throw the chessboard at my opponent who "wins" on time having completely lost position

If I lost 3 games in a row, I would recognize that today is not my day and do something other than chess.

That, or I would analyze the games like I always do and keep my mistakes in mind. Think harder about my moves so I don’t lose. If I keep losing, then I do something else

That, or I was way above my actual rating by fluke, so losing makes perfect sense, it gets me closer to my real rating.

I will keep playing even if I lost or won N games in a row where N is any positive integer number
