Just because the position is extremely easy doesn't mean the winning player will deliver the mate. With online play, you could also have a mouseslip.
Why do chess engines go up to +60 (or so)?
Yeah I don't mean to ask why it doesn't say "white will win" or something, I'm just curious why the engine says +60 or +75 instead of, say, +30. Either way it would communicate a massive advantage that would be difficult to lose.

This post might explain.

Thanks, that thread answered my question.
For anyone interested, it seems the reason is that the largest possible value (the engine only returns a number) for forced mate in one would be 32000 centipawns/320 pawns, (simply because of binary and rounding), and for each extra move it takes to reach checkmate the engine subtracts the value of a queen, which basically makes it so the highest number will be the fastest mate even if there's a queen sac. The engines on lichess and chess.com go up to about 28 depth, so 320 (max value) - 9 (value of a queen) * 28 (depth) = 68 pawns.
Basically around 60-70 is the highest evaluation the computer will give since all the higher values are reserved for forced mates, and lichess or chess.com automatically converts those higher numbers to M11 or something.

Kind of random, I'm just curious why the number 60? (I don't mean 60 very specifically, I've seen 70s before as well but it's extremely rare to get anything in the 20s, 30s, or 40s AFAIK)
For example, if you are up a queen in an endgame but there is no forced mate, engines (at least some of them) evaluate the position as +60 or so. This is true for both chess.com and lichess.
It might just be some random arbitrary number, just curious if anyone knows?
Stockfish max depth is 245.(Other engines like Rubichess is 255)
Look at Stockfish depth 245/245 in TCEC.
