Why do people get so mad when you don't wanna rematch?

Recently the number of people flaming you in game chat or on your wall about being a coward, Or accusing you of cheating because they hung all their material seems to be on an uprise. Lately its been every 7/10 games my opponent will lash out at me, regardless of result that i wont give them a rematch. 

Like come on... its just a silly board game to kill time. Why would you get mad over internet chess?

if you look at the profile of the guy who was flaming you you see his wall is full of people saying what a jerk he is don't worry to much about it jerks are jerks it's what they do

YOURE A COWARD WHY WONT YOU PLAY ME

sometimes i like to accept the rematch and then abort, just to irritate them even more.

Oh my goodness, I was recently flamed by a guy who I declined a rematch challenge of who wrote on my wall that I was a jerk who only played with white pieces and then runs. I'm like, dude, do your homework and browse through my game archives. I definitely play with black pieces as well, I just simply like playing different people with different styles. Any way, the guy came back and said that all he knew is that after I played with the white pieces against him, I declined a rematch. I told him to do his homework yet again and then declared him wittingly ignorant as any one can look through my game archives and see that I play with both white and black pieces.

Sometimes, I don't like to accept a rematch because I like to analyze a game and run a game through the engine right afterwards while my mind is fresh about the game.  If something interesting happened in the game like there might be some kind of tactical chance which I might have missed or an interesting move in the opening, I would definitely analyze the game instead of accepting a rematch.

All a fair play warning does is prevent you from seeking games to 5 min after each game, and it expires after a couple games.

ive gotten a fair play violation a couple times because of my phone disconnecting internet many times. 

im sure eventually they will ban you or something, but they havent so far.

Its ego, or lack of.  I am not here to feed, or stroke your ego.  If the loss of an unrated online game of chess bothers you that much, I would suggest therapy.  

Get used to it badly bruised egos are common in otb and online chess when people lose it touches something deep within their psyche look at my brother Peter every time we play I'd beat him and he'd get really mad at me at one point he got so frustrated after a game he lost his temper and asked me to throw some games and let him win I told him I'm not going to do that it goes against the spirit of the game.

I no longer play Chess with him because he's not a good sport about losing.

Because they are complete retards.  Still have never figured out what's so hard about clicking "new game".  

What a silly topic. It seems you don't understand what is chess about. Let's assume you have played bullet or blitz game. Wait, first we need to make clear that chess is not equal game as white and black pieces. Chess is not some other online game .. hm i don't know .. backgammon? Where nobody cares when they lose single game. This is battle of the mind. It is very easy to understand when a game of chess is played for fun and when for the absolutely win. A one can read your emotions, your skills just from observing how much time and what move you make in specific position and even when you make a move, other player can 100% say with that move you are not sure or don't know what is happening or with that move you disrespect your opponent or you are not resigning in lost position.  One can easily assume he is better than you and that you have won very luckily even in a way embarrasing your opponent. Bullet or Blitz game can be very agreessive. Ofcourse one is absolutely right to claim rematch and to say bad words agains you when you don't accept. And is absolutely right that person to not wish to play 2nd game. But if you did not prove in that game you are better etc. and you won very suspiciuos, and you do not want rematch and take black pieces, then sir, you are exacly what that person says you are. If you play chess for fun you can do it with unrated option.

I don't know if I would go so far to call people immature or morons simply because they want to play an rematch. I think games should be the best out of three as this gives both people a chance to play with both colors, as some people are better with white than they are with black and vice versa. Some people will let the server abort the game if they start a game with black color, so stop with the name calling and be understanding about the advantages and disadvantage in chess!

It's happen because  who lost want to recover your points,a sense of defeat that he wants to eliminate,natural things for players,and when he can not,exalts himself and ends by sayng nonsense.
