If you offer a rematch it shows that you can’t deal with the loss.
Why do people ignore rematches? Can't rejecting the invite more sensible?

@borovicka75 Yes, I can't deal with a loss where I narrowly lost or to be honest, any loss. I am always striving to win. Your outlook to chess and life maybe different and you may call it ego but I call it passion. And honestly, at my elo, a chess game does not feel as satisfying- it always feels as you didn't exert your full brainpower, which always inturn leads to a feeling to try again with the same opponent to really see who is better.
People keep ignoring rematch requests. I can understand that they are busy or don't want to play because they narrowly won but why are they not rejecting the matches. Instead, they just ignore it (they are always online) and waste my time? The people who win against me in a way that clearly screams 'superior' always reject or accept. But the people who just win because of a very bad blunder always ignore my request.
