why do people think so lowly about 1000 elo?

People always think that 1000 elo blunders there queen, hangs mate in one, and dosnt know anything about chess, but in my games my opponent and i almost never (1/100 games) blunder our queen a checkmate, or a fork so why do people think so lowly about 1000 elo?

I don’t normally blunder mate in one but it still dose happen even gm blunder mate in one sometimes (but not very often 1/100000000000000)

Everyone blunders mate in one. It's not just a 1000 elo thing. Even Firouzja. It's just that as people get better they tend to blunder less but they still blunder. I think 1/100 at 1000 elo is pretty generous, it's way more than that.
Here's a game between Hikaru and Firouzja, where they both missed mate in one, both having more than a minute on the clock. (move 31)
