Why do so many low level players resign when blundering a queen or when they are losing?

Its very annoying, as I'm trying to Increase my Elo and people just keep resigning when I'm winning.

It is their choice. If you're winning up a Queen then there is not much to learn anymore. If you're only winning up a knight for example than it is another story. But again it's their choice.

My OPINION is, A) obviously the queen is the most powerful piece so clearly they are at a huge disadvantage without it, but I too believe, especially at lower elo (me included, almost 400 lol) that most people really only play with the queen, I’m trying to play principled chess, and many people at low elo just want to get the queen out fast and nab all the pieces they can rather than try to build a good defense/actual attack. But once you can trade/they blunder their queen they are quite easy to beat (most of the time). So to me it’s a combo of low game knowledge and the disadvantage they are at.

Making a big mistake in chess, like losing the queen or being in a bad position, can be really frustrating.
