If you want faster games,

then i suggest you play 10+ games at once with 1 day/move.

Also, you can try Live Chess for faster games.

Me too.  I forget what I was up to in each game.  I'm used to about 6 games, tried pushing it to 10, still winning mostly but there's a definite downturn.

An immediate hxg3 appeals to me.

I'd even go as far as fxg3! I know, I live life on the edge.

Avatar of Biarien

Unfortunately, hxg3 and fxg3 are both blunders, as they neglect development. Ne2! develops with tempo on the black queen, which is now under triple attack.  Rg1!! will be played next, putting the black queen under quadruple attack. Of course, the optimal move order is in fact first Qg4!!!, then Ne2, then Rg1, when the queen is under pentuple (or something) attack!

Ne2? allows Qg5 (or Qg6). If then Rg1, then Qxg1.

Or were you joking, Biarien? Tongue out

Yeah, I put it under many attacks.

I would agree!

I think Biarien is correct. One could also consider a4 followed by Ra3... to exert further pressure on the queen. But that's expert play. It takes years to become an expert like that.

Putting a car in the ditch isn't driving.

Chess isn't slow - when your mind is challenged by your opponent's well posed problems, there isn't an activity in the universe which eats up time faster.

Find better opponents.
