Well, the dragon is decent in blitz as long as White doesn't play the 9. 0-0-0 d5 Qe1 line which gives White a stable positional edge with no attacking chances for Black (not what u want as a Dragon player) or a two-tempi up version of the Yugoslav Attack (9. Bc4). I used to play the Dragon with Black with decent results but ditched it because someone played the Qe1 line on me. The good thing about it is that most players at our level don't play it because they underestimate it. @FizzyBand used to play the Dragon, knows a lot of theory, and stopped playing it in favor of the Taimanov because of that 10.Qe1 line I am talking about and went up ~100 rating points

People at my level never want to play long openings. Just the Polish Defense. >.<
I play the dragon. It's good as long as you know a ton of theory, which takes a lot of time.
