Why is Magnus so arrogant? He escaped from the conference.

Like trolling I assume, richie?
Your comments represent quite a bit of what can go wrong on internet platforms.

People still need to have manners. But the thing is, they're tied up so if or when Magnus wins, he still has the right to be happy. Not boasting or anything like that, but people must share their emotions, especially the positive ones.
But just to know, who here likes Carlsen more than Karjakin. Say 'Hi' if you like Carlsen more.
Just a quick question to top this comment off, should I call Magnus Carlsen by the name Magnus or Carlsen? I keep alternating between the two so I want to just stick with one name, rather than having one thousand. (I was over exaggerating there. I only call him by three names, #1 player [I feel like canceling out that one. Please give me suggestions], Magnus, or Carlsen) Just tell me out of those three names which one I should call him by, at least when I'm writing about him.
Can someone reply to this comment please?

All those who claim that Karjakin is the nicest guy in the world didn't see his first post-game interview after his loss yesterday. When the reporter asked him a question he replied "I'm still thinking about the game, not these stupid questions".
He too is influenced by emotions, which is quite normal after struggling on the board for 6 hours.
As for Carlsen, I think he always recognizes good play by his opponents and he's not disrespectful to them, he's more mad with himself.
I completely understand he didn't want to attend a mockery of a press conference. The questions are a total joke.
How do you feel after your loss?
Splendid, nothing feels better than losing a game!
What will your tactic be for the next games?
Oh I will play a sicilian with an early h3 and move 12 will be a novelty Ng5.
C'mon...

Yes, it's normal to be pissed after a loss. But it makes a difference how this mood is acted out. Personally I try to take a loss with 'gg' or 'nice play', but if I keep losing it gets more difficult to be a good sport. On really bad days I can easily attribute my opponent with all kinds of shit, although I know nothing about him ... that pretentious little prick.

A world champion without class. Scandinavians are so immature.
Says the guy hiding in International waters.

FM_Checkmate, both his first name and surname are relatively short, which is probably why you ended up calling him both. You see, if he had some massive name like Venkatanarasimharajuvaripeta Carlsen (although it may look like it, I'm not trying to make fun of Indians), you'd probably call him Carlsen and vice versa.

Ah, come the heck on.
These two are playing the world championship, remember?
Why's it so surprising that Carlsen got mad after losing? Can any of us truly understand the immense pressure and stress these guys are going through? I think not.

Are you referring to the interview immediately after he walks out of the playing room (the same one that Magnus refused in round 8 and 9)? I watched it, and I don't recall Karjakin saying anything of that sort.

he might be trying to be like fischer. fischer however was more of a rambo, while carlsen is a geek.

The guy is not very sociable at the best times. Has a serious anti-social disorder. I so much want Karjakin to win this WCC. I do not understand why he didn't force the draw in the last game.
Even when Carlsen is present at the press conferences he doesn't say much. He looks bored, and doesn't engage with anyone.
I do not know if Magnus' Father is still in control of product Carlsen or not. A good PR firm could do some remedial work on Magnus. Its embarrassing to watch him now.

What on Earth are you talking about? Why would Carlsen have a 'serious anti-social disorder'?
He doesn't like losing, and throws a tantrum every now and then, so what?
Korchnoi would not shake hands, spit on the chessboard, throw the clock away and flip the board when he lost. Carlsen is a gentleman compared to him and Kasparov.
