On balance, I think the new puzzles rating is a fairer reflection of your actual ability.
I've changed my settings difficulty to "Hard" so that if/when I do get one wrong, my rating doesn't plummet like a stone.
On the new standard difficulty setting, you only get 3 or 4 pts for a correct solution but you lose like 16-18 for getting one wrong. So a couple of wrong solutions and you need to solve like 15-20 in a row just to get back to where you were.
Now that I've changed the difficulty settings to "hard" I'm actually enjoying it more now because when you get one wrong, you only drop about 8pts or so

thank you chess.com for negating all progress I have made in the last year.
Honestly I do like the new puzzle rating system but it's always +2 or +3 I never got more than this and if you lose one it's -25 or -30 this makes gaining rating in puzzle extremely hard especially for people without the diamond subscription bcs I don't have diamond subscription and I used to solve my 3 free puzzles regularly every day without missing a day and I finally got 2000 rating and just after that I got a -500 I was ok with that minus but the minus we get after losing one puzzle is enormous I think chess. Com can either increase free puzzle from 3 to 5 per day or reduce the minus after losing a puzzle like -15 or -20 is good.
