I have stopped playing blitz and bullet chess because it is full of cheaters. the cheating occurs in two steps in bullet first they wait until their time becomes less than 30 or 20 sec and suddenly they will do something like our time becomes less than 30 sec and their clock with full time. another type of cheating is in the middlegame their time becomes 000.0 and our remained with 5 to 6 sec suddenly they play their trick and our time will become 0 sec and theirs with 5 or 6 sec. same case in blitz also I am confident that more than 40 % of people play this trick and 60% of fair players are suffering I request chess.com to do something about this . thank you

What you are describing is the lag system, it is not your opponent cheating. If you are having such serious time changes, then you probably have connection issues.

not even in my games even in some top games some people do like that I have noticed it it is clearly cheating how can a person with 0 sec recover his time to 5 or 6 seconds is this possible

Wait around for baddogno, he will probably post a link that fully explains it. I can't seem to find the link right now.

Basically, it works like this:

You submit a move, and your opponents clock in your GUI starts ticking down.

Chess.com server processes that move and sends it to your opponent.

Your opponent submits their move.

At this point, the C.c server determines if there was lag when either sending your move to your opponent or receiving your opponetns move. If so, it instucts your opponents clock on your GUI to adjust itself taking into account the lag time.

So, if the server determines there was a 3 second lag when communicating with your opponent, it will add 3 seconds to their clock when the server sends their move to your GUI.

Because they are not rich enough to hire a GM to play for them.  If coaches can do it in the NBA and managers can do it in the MLB, then why can't we do the same in chess?

oh yeah, definitely. a lot of people cheat on this site. I don't get it, it's not like the stakes are twenty bucks a game. cheaters are usually lazy individuals that don't have the proper work ethic to at least try to make an honest effort to improve their game.

My 5 CENTS WORTH - chess has been around for a long long time - always evolving - with the resent cheating in 2 big nations national sides with phones its obvious we as mere mortals can not play against a stockfish 7 with a 3300 or the over 300 other aPps and engines ( so we use to go the blitz and bullet chess ) but app is way to fast now ( and bull about network - to time cheat check Indonesian sites for word by word explanation - just mess around with your time zone on your phone on your opponents move and walla ) only way to move chess forward is to change - advance - my suggestion is to ad 2 more lines - board will read then 1-10 blocks with old a to h (2 extra lines will do nothing to a real player but will leaf a app and engine blind )
