One thing that bugs a lot of chess players is that we keep bouncing back winning then losing. Here are some reasons why: 1. you are afraid you'll lose 2. you play late at night, or you are tired when you play 3. you are about to get to a certain ELO, and you keep playing, then you start losing,

I usually play in the after noon because I noticed I’m a lot better during the afternoon so this does work.
