Plenty of people have given plenty of reasons why they resign. Your response is always just to keep asking the same question. Yes, sure, your opponent may drop dead during your game and if winning at all costs means everything to you than sure, keep playing on in the faint hope that will happen.
I mean if you lose all your good pieces and your opponent has all their good piece would you still play? or resign?
True, but what are the chances of that happening. If you are playing a pro or intermediate player than resign.
There's no harm in playing till the end. You lose just just a minute. If you can't spend a minute for chess then you play chess for fun.
Did I miss a rule where suddenly all games end in 1 minute once you are in a position where you would resign?!
