Newsflash, some people are poor sports.
why this player still wasting time even he know he's lose?

i hate this wasting time very much! why he/she do something like that?!
When in shock, five minutes fly right by

Firstly, accept this as a compliment, you have outsmarted him, don't get frustrated. Take the opportunity to go the bathroom, get a drink or a snack.
You have a few options here.
- Just start another game, you can have multiple live games
- Block this player so you never play him again
- Write nasty things on his wall

this is the set,

Who cares the game wasn't anygood anyways

Oh thank goodness! It's been a little while since I've seen a "Why won't they resign?" thread. Was starting to worry a bit.
You know, when there are options, I don't like the opponent to post messages like "hurry up" when all I am doing is using the time agreed upon to calculate, making sure that I am not resigning a draw or win.

The other day, I found myself in a similar position. I made one halfway decent move in a 10 min. game in the first minute. The opponent did not make another move and let the clock run out 9 minutes, perhaps hoping I would abort the game. Anyway, I went to his home page and found very nasty messages from many members that were well beyond just "hurry up" regarding this very issue.
I do think that there could be a complaint button for this type of action. And if say 10 different players within a 3 month time period make a complaint about the same individual, then that persons account suspends for two weeks or maybe a month.
I agree it is annoying. For the majority here who love and appreciate chess, running the clock out is very rude, immature and un-sportsman like. In football, they have such a penalty, un-sportsman like conduct, 15 yard penalty. Well, chess is my sport, it should have such a penalty.
Vote for chess étiquette!

"he only have Qd2"
This was a Live Chess game? He had four choices to consider and perhaps needed much time to ponder. He had not only (1) Qd2, but also had (2) Qc3! (which, if you responded incorrectly with QxQ, could have led to his easily winning). And then there was contemplating offering a (3) draw, or even (4) resigning. Maybe he had a connection or PC problem. Maybe it was tea time. Who knows?
Anyway, the site is said to keep track of such time burners. If he does it excessively, presumably his playing capability will be greatly hampered (eg. he'll be limited to playing with just 'friends' until he demonstrates an improved behaviour).
In the meantime, if you do not wish to encounter this fellow again, you need merely add him to your 'block' list (however, there is a 200 member limit to how many can be on your 'block' list, so use it judiciously).

Regret to inform you that you should have lost on move 9. Na7# is a smother mate for him. I suppose everything after that was a waste of time. Why he retreated the N to a a3 is the mystery. "my opp" should have won this game. ( he also passed up on forking your King and Rook earlier.

Haha, I think you are getting off topic here. This poor guy is tormented about his opponent running the clock and you are criticizing his game?? Classic!! I do not think he calculated this move either, but it should have been expected in a Chess forum.

If it was an isolated game (not part of a live tourney) then, who cares?
Live tourney!!!! Where? Where?
