why would I have received this message

I don’t abandon or resign games. I am always cordial with other players. My phones battery has run out of juice, but that hasn’t occurred for months. Still I have routinely seen other players resign when they have played me. At least it is only for a day. Still
I am at a complete loss, why I received this message.
